Reports say four soldiers and a village guard wounded
A clash broke out during the operation of Turkish army on Cudi Mountain of Şırnak against guerrillas in process of ‘inertia’. According to the first reports coming, 4 soldiers and a village guard were wounded in the clash.
Turkish army started extensive operations in Cudi, Gabar and Besta region three days ago. Today, a clash broke out between HPG (People’s Defense Forces) guerrillas and Turkish army units at around 00:30 on Cudi Mountain skirts. According to the news of Turkish media, 4 soldiers and a village guard were wounded in the clash. It was reported that there has been a soldier transfer to the region, where the clash is still continuing.
The armored vehicles, which were brought from the Tank Battelion in Cizre in the frame of the operation, were directed to dominant points, to Hisar, Çağlayan, Derebaşı and Karacabey regions.
