Ahtisaari will visit Turkey second time in two months

Former Finnish President and winner of Nobel Peace Prize Martti Ahtisaari will attend a conference about Turkey's accession to the European Union in Istanbul.
This is Ahrisaari's second visit to Turkey in two months.
The conference is organized by the Green Party parliamentary group in the European Parliament. The conference aims to share opinions about the duties of Turkish government and the EU on the accession process of Turkey to the union.
The conference will be held in 1-2 November. Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davudoglu, CHP president Kemal Kilicdaroglu and European MP Daniel Cohn-Bendit will also attend the conference.
Ahtisaari visited Diyarbakir last September and met with Kurdish leaders to exchange ideas about solution of the Kurdish problem.
