Bawer Kotik lost his life in the military operation carried out by the Turkish army in Dersim
The body of HPG (People's Defense Forces) guerrilla Bawer Kotik, who died in the clashes erupted in yesterday’s operation of Turkish army in Dersim, has been taken from Elazığ Research Hospital by his family.
Kotik’s body is being taken to his birthplace Pertek/Dersim for the burial. BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Dersim MP Şerafettin Halis, Dersim Mayor Edibe Şahin and a number of citizens set out to Pertek to attend Kotik’s funeral.
