Prisoner Mehmet Aras about to die in Erzurum jail
Prisoner Mehmet Aras is about to die in Erzurum H Type Prison said lawyer Şaziye Önder, representative of Human Rights Association (IHD) Doğubeyazıt Branch. The news has been reported by DIHA news agency which attended the meeting organized by IHD in their office to draw attention on prisoner Mehmet Aras’s serious health condition. Önder underlined the inhuman practices carried out in the prisons and asked President Gul to free Mehmet Aras for appropriate medical treatment before it is too late.
