520 Kurdish families living in the border area are displaced in result of Iran's bombing of the border region.
Iran is continuing its mortar shell attacks on South Kurdistan despite the Holy Ramadan. It is reported that 520 families living in the border area are displaced and had to take shelter in Sengeser district of the Federal Kurdistan Region.
Iranian mortar shell attacks restarted just after the unilateral ceasefire declared by Kurdistan Democratic Confederation KCK on 13 August which was also the beginning of the Holy Ramadan.
Iranian army also bombed 7 villages in Pishder region of Qandil on 23 August which left a villager injured and 18 families homeless who later on took refuge in Jarawe and Sengeser districts.
It is reported that while hundreds of families were displaced because of the Iranian aggression on the South Kurdistan a number humanitarian organisations from United Arab Emirates UAE provided the IDP families in Sengeser with food aid.
According to ANF records since the beginning of May 2010 while at least 4 civilians including 2 children were killed 10 villagers were injured in the Iranian and Turkish aggression on South Kurdistan.
