3 Turkish soldiers injured in a military operation in Sirnak

Turkish Armed Forces continue military operations

A blast took place in a military operation in Sirnak province on the Iraqi border left three Turkish soldiers injured.

It is reported that during a military operation conducted by the Turkish army against Kurdish guerrillas in Namaz Mountain in Sirnak province a blast took place. As a result of the explosion last night 2 Turkish officers and a specialised sergeant injured. The injured are hospitalized with helicopters. The operation in the region reported to be continuing.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Turkish army started a military operation after road controls between Diyarbakir and Bingol provinces.

People Defence Forces (HPG) Liaison Office reported that Turkish army realized a road control between Korxê and Markê villages on Diyarbakir- Bingol provinces at 6 o’clock in the morning. The operation launched afterwards is still continuing in the region.
