The PKK had denied any involvement in the attack
Turkish police attacked the funeral cortege of Esref Gur, one of the victims of yesterday bombing in Hakkari.
Gur's body was taken from Hakkari State Hospital by his family this morning. During the funeral cortege to the Yenimahalle cemetery Turkish police attacked the crowd with water canons and gas bombs.
Protesters began to hurdle stones to the police after the attack.
The clashes continue in Hakkari city center, locals say.
A suspected road side bomb explosion killed ten civilians in Hakkari yesterday.
Kurdistan Workers Party denied any connection with the attack and said Turkish government is responsible for the bombing.
