A Kurdish woman facing imminent death sentence

URMIA, Eastern Kurdistan -- A Kurdish women was sentenced to death after she has been hold for 9 years in prison.
According to Kurdistan Human Right Organisation, Mohabat Mahmoodi has been sentenced to death on 20th June and there is a strong possibility of hanging her in a short period. She had informed Kurdistan Human Right organisation through a letter, and requested help and condemnation against her charge from all people in or out side of Kurdistan.
Mohabat Mahmoodi was arrested 9 years ago with the charge of killing someone who was going to rape her. However, both partners of killed person want Mohabat being released from prison but the Iranian authorities insist on executing her.
