Demirtas says the bomb attack against a minibus carrying villagers in Hakkari, is a provocation.

Peace and Democracy Part (BDP) co-president says the bomb attack against a minibus carrying villagers in Hakkari, is a provocation.

Speaking in a press briefing in Ankara Selahattin Demirtas said it's AKP governments responsibility to find the assailants of the provocative attack.

Demirtas said BDP will send a delegation to Hakkari to investigate the attack. He will also personally travel to Hakkari with co president Gultan Kisanak to pay condolences to relatives of the victims.

He also insisted that the attackers are possibly from the same group which carried the bomb attack in 2005.

A bomb attack on 9 November 2005 at the 'Umut Bookstore' in central Semdinli killed one person and seriously wounded a second. The assailants were 4 military officers.

Demirtas and Kisanak were in Ankara today for a meeting with government officials. This meeting was cancelled after the attack.
