BDP MP Fatma Kurtulan put question to Parliament
Pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) asked the Turkish government about the extrajudicial killings on the borders areas.
In a parliamentary question to be answered by the Minister of Interior Beşir Atalay, the Kurdish MP Fatma Kurtulan asked the recent extrajudicial killing took place on the Turkish-Iranian border in Van district on 28 August in which a 26-year old Kurdish villager Şerafettin Güleryüz lost his life. She also added that according to the witnesses the victim found himself in a cross fire by the Turkish and Iranian soldiers.
Also reminding the other similar incidents Kurtulan asked the Minister of Interior whether any investigations has been started regarding the incident, whether an autopsy was conducted on the victim’s body, whether the government has an action plan to prevent furthers incidents.
