12 September Museum of Shame to stay open until 25 September

Revolutionary 78's Federation, which created a museum of shame in the 30th anniversary of the military coup, wrote a letter to TBMM (Grand National Assembly of Turkey) Human Rights Board of Review Chairman and members, demanding them to pull their weight on the parliament.

The 12 September museum of shame, which was opened by Revolutionary 78's Federation, is visited by hundreds of people every day. While the union is inviting people to memorialize the decedents and to protest against the military coup with various activities in the 30th anniversary, it has also written one invitation letter for each TBMM Human Rights Board of Review Chairman and members. The letter signed by Union Chairman Nejat Kangal, which stated that the museum will stay open until 25 September, said:

"We demand the members of TBMM Human Rights Board of Review to definitely see the 12 September museum of shame and to pull their weight in order not to be part of this shame after 30 years."

Besides the invitation letter, the union also sent the commission the bilingual activity schedule prepared both in Turkish and Kurdish.
