Kurdish writer and poet arrested by the Iranian authorities

MARIWAN, Eastern Kurdistan—according to the local news source a Kurdish writer and poet was arrested by the Iranian intelligence service in the city of Mariwan in Eastern Kurdistan.
Kurdish poet Naser Azizi was arrested on 7th of September 2010 and he has been transferred to unspecified place by the Iranian intelligence services.
According to the same source charges against Mr Azizi still unknown, however, the observers think Mr Azizis arrest is part of the policies of the Islamic regime toward the Kurdish civil, political, Human Rights and cultural activists.
It is important to notice that few weeks ago two Kurdish cultural activists and poets were arrested by the regimes authorities. Mr Mukhtar Hooshmand and Behzad Kurdistani still held in regimes revolutionary guards’ detention.
