BDP observers attacked with rifles and knives

Village guards attacked Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) supporters with rifles and knifes in Sirnak, wounding 15.

Kumcati, a town of Sirnak provice, joined the boycott campaign for the constitutional referendum. Voting centers were almost empty as of his morning.

The village guards attacked the BPD observers as they came to the voting center in Kumcati Elementary School. 15 people were wounded in the attack.

None of the wounded has life threatening injuries locals said.

Tension remained high in the town after the attack. No one was detained.
