Protests to mark 12th anniversary of Kurdish leader Ocalan from Syria
Kurdistan People's Initiative called Kurds to protest to mark anniversary of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan's deportation from Syria.
Ocalan had to leave Syria after enormous pressure from the Syrian authorities and this step led to the capture of him in Nairobi five months later.
The initiative's statement called all shop-owners to close their shops, all students to boycott he schools and all Kurds to organize protest demonstrations for a week starting from today.
The initiative said the protests must be aggressive in order to show Kurds loyalty to their leader Abdullah Ocalan.
The statement also called all Kurds to dress in black on October 9.
