Disappearance of a Kurdish writer

MERIWAN, Eastern Kurdistan, -- Kurdish writer and poet, Aziz Naseri was arrested in August. He was caught in the city of Meriwan and then transferred to a detention in Sine.

Since his arrest nothing has been heard of him raising concern of his family.

Mr. Naseri was graduated in Persian literature and had been teaching in Meriwan’s high schools for the last 12 years. He was a member of the writer’s assembly of Zirebar magazine. His articles had been published by numerous Kurdish magazines.
