Turkish police raided 17 homes of BDP members and activists
Turkish police detained 15 Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) members in house raids this morning.
According to BDP's statement Turkish police raided 17 homes of BDP members and activists at 05:30 this morning in Gulsuyu, Gulensu and Esentepe quarters of Maltepe. 15 BDP members were arrested by the Turkish police.
Head of BPD's Istanbul branch Mustafa Avci said that the AKP government is trying to weaken BDP with police operations. He said the attacks against BDP are deliberate after ceasefire declaration of the Kurdistan Worker's Party, last week.
A Kurdish teenager reported to be among the detained BDP reported.
BDP named the detained as follows: Özgür Duman, Ferit Tokar, Muhittin Güzel, Mustafa Karaboğa, Yusuf İnalkaç, İbarhim İnalkaç, Savaş Kenkinsin, Erhan Budak, Bülent Kayar, Baran Kuzeyyıldırım, Ünal Canik, Halil Yıldız, Muhsin Canik, Dursun Pehlivan, Baran ? and İbrahim İnalkaç.
