 Kurdish Info 17.10.2009- Upon calls from Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, the first two of three peace groups from Maxmur and Qandil will enter Turkey on 19th October from the Silopi district of Şırnex. In a press conference DTP Şırnex branch called on all the people of Botan to attend and greet the peace groups at 10am in the Tilqebin (Başverimli) region. It was also stated in the press conference that the aim of peace groups was to contribute for a solution to the Kurdish issue and show the sincerity of the Kurds for peace. ‘‘The peace groups are the representatives of the Kurdish People and also all those who desire an honourable peace. We are also ready to do everything in our power for peace and democracy. |
