güncel At a time when Turkey’s Kurdish Initiative appears to be reaching a deadlock, the KCK Executive Council (Democratic Communities of Kurdistan) has decided to send two separate peace groups to Turkey, one from Europe and the other from bases in northern Iraq. The purpose of these two Kurdish peace groups is to help break the current deadlock threatening the success of Turkey’s Kurdish Initiative by discussing with Turkish authorities the essential democratic rights that Kurds should enjoy within Turkey.

We would like to call upon all parties to the Kurdish issue in Turkey to use this occasion to renew their joint determination to further the Turkish government’s Kurdish Initiative. .
