güncel Kurdish Info 04.10.2009- It has been five days since the murder of a 13 year old girl by a missile thrown from a military battalion. If this atrocity hadn’t occurred, Ceylan, who had asked her mother ‘cook pasta for tonight’ when leaving home to graze animals, would still be alive.
The Chief of Staff is attempting to absolve itself of responsibility by making an official statement saying ‘no missiles were thrown in the region at that time.’

The governor of the province resorted to the same cheap tactics. Without even waiting for examination and investigation reports he said the explosion had occurred because of a ‘mine the PKK had laid.’ The Chief of Staff in its weekly bulletin denied the attack by saying ‘we have ascertained that our military forces didn’t throw any missiles in the region at that time.’ Amed Member of Parliament Gülten Kışanak presented a written bill regarding this matter for the Prime Minister to answer.
Ceylan should now be in school with her friends. But instead her life has been ended by a missile of the Turkish army.
