Kurds came together in London today to protest about the execution of Ehsan Fattahian by the Iranian authorities. They stood outside the Iranian Embassy holding a hanging man,
and as a gesture of frustration that this is being allowed to continue, they took to the road with the hanging man for a short time.
There are others awaiting execution in Iran – this must stop. Shame on you.
The demonstration moved to the Syrian Embassy in support of the Kurds imprisoned there. There has been an escalation of political arrests of Kurds in Syria recent, since other countries have been opening their doors to the Syrian Government. Hunger strikers in prison are continuing to make their own protest inside Syria. They need our support. Contact your MP, write to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, tell others.
