The Turkey - Iran border by Phil McElhinney.
Kurdish Info 12.11.2009- Kurdish villagers who have for years been chastened with policies of hunger and poverty and forced to earn their livelihood by smuggling are being killed extrajudicial methods. Let alone finding those responsible for these killings, the Turkish and Iranian States are doing everything in their power to cover up these extrajudicial executions.
33 people have been killed on the Iranian border in the past seven years. Amongst those killed are children aged 9, 13 and 15. All the appeals made by the Human Rights Wan branch have been futile.

Human Rights Wan branch administrator Hüseyin Ayaz stated that rather than legal pursuit soldiers are choosing to shoot at people.
