AKP set date for elections
The ruling AKP (Justice and Development Party) has today decided that the next general elections will be held on June 12th 2011.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had indicated earlier that elections could be scheduled sometimes in June. Now the decision has been taken.
