Kurds love to listen to foreigners. I know this from experience. In the west there are a lot of ‘Middle-Eastern experts’ who seem to not know the local languages and still claim to be an expert on this regions. For instance, recently there was a Dutch politician Dries van Aght who wrote about Palestine, but he doesn’t even know the Arabic language.
