People marched last night to support 'democratic autonomy'
A “democratic autonomy” march in Esenşehir District of Ümraniye/İstanbul, ended up with a group of people stoning the 'local authority' office.
A group gathered last night in Esenşehir District and walked out closing the main street to traffic.
Opening banners writing “Esenşehir Youth is greeting the democratic autonomy”, the group started to march chanting slogans like “Biji serok Apo", “Kurdistan will dig a grave for fascism”. The group also stoned the local authority office of the AKP (Justice and Development Party).
It has been learned that the action, which lasted nearly an hour, was organized “to greet the democratic autonomy”.
