NORTHERN KURDISTAN--Various Kurdish sources from Northern Kurdistan have notified Kurdish people that Turkish officials, particularly official from justice Ministry have started dialogues with imprisoned Kurdish national leader Mr Ocalan.
Kurdish and Turkish official controversially arguing the truthiness of the statement, in which some of the Turkish official up till now attempting to deny what has been stated by the Kurdish official in respect of the dialogue that has taken place between Kurdish national leader Mr Ocalan and the Turkish government.
According to the Firat News Agency, Turkish Justice Minister Mr Sadullah Ergin, however, stated that Mr Ocalan has been met by the Turkish Justice officials ever since he was captured. He also stated that Mr Ocalan has been met by the Turkish intelligence service (MIT) too whenever it was necessary.
In a question forwarded to the Turkish interior Minister Mr Bashir Atalay whether the head of Turkish national intelligence services (MIT) ever met Mr Ocalan Kurdish national leader. In respond Mr Atalay stated that “this question should be asked to the MIT directly” because the MIT department is not related to me.
Despite the confirmation of the truthiness of the statements by the Kurdistan democratic confederation system (KCK), the ruling party (AK Party) still denies any direct contact between Mr Ocalan and Mr Ordogans administration.
With regard to the settlement of disputes, international law and UN Charter emphasize greatly on the settlement of the disputes through a dialogue and negotiations. However, Turkish government, which is party to the International treaties, denying what it has signed and ratified as the important and mere means of settlements between the disputed parties.
It is vital to underline the role of the western states with respect to current situation in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan, which they claim that contributing great efforts in order to maintain the international peace and democracy.
