Rudaw - Kurdish parties that are part of the Supreme Council of Political Parties in Iraqi Kurdistan say they will boycott meetings o f the council because President Massoud Barzani takes unilateral decisions, the Sulaimaniya-based independent newspaper Hawlati reported today. Bahadeen Salahadeen, secretary-general of the Islamic Union of Kurdistan, has told a group of his party's media that he will boycott the meeting s because: "unilateral decisions have been taken on the issues. It is not possible that one person (leads) the meetings and uses it to do his work," Hawlati has quoted him as saying to the journalists. He also said: "Massoud Barzani takes unilateral decisions." Qadir Aziz, leader of the Kurdistan Toilers' Party, also said that in the last meeting of the council they expressed their concern about issues that need to be addressed; "The parties that are in the council have not been given their (share) of role to make decisions on the (important) issues," Hawlati quoted him as saying.
