AFN - The prominent Kurdish politician and mayor of Siirt, Selim Sadak, has been sentenced for 10 months.
He was sentenced for a speech during a cultural festival in August last year. According to the court, he made propaganda for the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
Selim Sadak will be free, if he appeals. Sadak was just released from jail, after he was acquitted in a court trial accusing Kurdish politicians of helping the alleged urban arm of the PKK, the KCK.
