Waleed Hussein appeared before the individual military judge in Qamishli on 22 February 2010, and his case was adjourned for sentencing until 23 March 2010. This hearing was for the defence to put his case, and was attended by his lawyer Mohammad Ashraf al- Cino, member of the Board of Trustees of the Kurdish organization for the defence of human rights and public freedoms in Syria – DAD.
