London (KurdishMedia.com) 05 January 2010: During 2009 in the town of Raniya (aka: Rania) 1729 different incidents were recorded in the 12 police stations of the town. There were 21 incidents that led to death of which 10 of them were women, reported sbeiy.com online. The report revealed that there were 10 suicides of which 5 were women. The record shows 179 violence incidents against women. There were 48 burning conditions of which 9 were aimed to self-destruction.
There were 133 thefts, 4 kidnappings and 97 mobile telephone related crimes.
