Iranian Parliament Summons German Envoy over release of PJAK’s leader

The Iranian Parliament on Tuesday summoned German Ambassador to Tehran Bernd Erbel to voice Tehran's protest against the release of Mr. Haci Ahmedi the captured leader of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan PJAK by Germany.

"We invited the German Ambassador to the parliament to voice our regret and surprise over the freedom of PJAK group's leader," Chairman of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said”.

Haci Ahmedi the leader of PJAK was arrested on Friday 6th March in Germany and he was released on Monday 8th March. His release caused anger among the Iranian politicians.
