The PJAK guerrillas and the Iranian Military Forces clashed in the Salmas region

According to the news correspondence from the Eastern Kurdistan (North West of Iran), the clash between the guerrillas of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) and the Iranian Military Forces took place and it left several wounded and killed.

Tens of the Iranian forces have been either killed or injured.

According to the local news agencies, over the last few days around 4,000 Iranian Military Forces as well as the local mercenaries began to carry out military operation in the region of Salmas. As the result of these operations, the clashes among the Iranian Military Forces and the PJAK guerrillas took place; and tens of the Iranian Forces including the local mercenaries were either killed or wounded.

It should be noted that among those mercenaries who were killed in the conflict; there are two people from the city of Bokan, one from Saqiz, two mercenaries from Piranshehir and one from the city of Muhabad known as the “Kemal Ghumi Fer”.

According to local news agencies, all those wounded in the clash are at the very critical state.

The news correspondence claimed that at the end of the operation, an internal clash took place among the local mercenaries and as the result of this many mercenaries were wounded.
