Hakkari - A Kurdish 9-year old jumped from a balcony, out of fear for the Turkish policy that carried out a raid in the apartment of his parents reports Yuksekovahaber. In Turkey, the demonstrations continue over the ban of the pro-Kurdish DTP party.

Tensions continued in Kurdish provinces, like Hakkari. On Friday the Turkish security forces raided an apartment to arrest Kurdish demonstrators. A 9-year old Kurdish boy was wounded, when he jumped out of the balcony, fearing the Turkish police forces.

The father of the boy was angry on the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan and called it a ‘gift to Kurdish kids’. Saturday there were also clashes between the Turkish police and Kurds, that demonstrated against the close of the DTP-party and the mass arrests of Kurdish politicians and mayors (Photo: Diha).
